The water cooler/dispenser industry suffers for a long time from several big pain points. These include the lack of agility in the restock process, as well as the high logistic and maintenance costs involving supply and machines. With a growing 2.5 Billion global market and more than half of its market in the commercial/industrial area, these issues need a solution ASAP.
In the market there are already a ton, and we mean A TON of new water dispensers. But they all offer more or less the same two things. Capacity, and temperature control. It's not just an add-on. The Smart Ring is a truly autonomous cloud-connected device with its own EdgeAI expanded by server-side logic. It learns via onboard machine learning your consumption habits and re-orders automatically before you run out of stock. You can also order manually, just downlo... wait...there's no extra app needed that will slow down my phone? OMG, this is fantastic. You can manually order your re-stock, directly from SmartRing®. Know when an order has been placed and manage them all right on the spot.
The SmartRing® also tracks your water consumption down to the centiliter. Besides helping the SmartRing® predict your next re-stock order, it also detects possible leakage based on AI algorithms or non-authorized water supply consumption.
Even if an app is not needed for the SmartRing® to properly work, the full ecosystem includes an app companion, a back office, and full API for integration in any 3rd party information system such as ERP, CRM, POS, etc, for full 360º with the water provider’s accounting, logistics, and delivery fleets.
The solution is already entering the pre-production stage and is set to hit the market in 2023.
